We are an old fashioned haberdashery located on historic Whiskey Row in Prescott AZ. We carry a wide variety of hats, leather handbags, belts, and accessories.
** We do not currently offer online ordering, but we are happy to ship if you call in your requests.

Located inside Hotel St. Michael on Prescott’s historic Whiskey Row, Puttin’ on the Hats has been a local staple since its original incorporation in 1990.
Under new ownership since August 2021, the shop continues to carry name brands and serve people around the globe. Original owner, Jim, and new owner, Jessica, became unlikely friends through the buying and selling of Puttin' On The Hats.

Born and raised in central Montana, Jessica joined the Prescott community fall 2021. Her enthusiasm towards people combined with her MBA makes her a great addition to this shop and the surrounding area.
If she's not at the shop, there's a good chance she's riding her horses with her husband exploring the great state of AZ.

Styles range from western felt and straw cowboy hats, driving caps, Greek fisherman caps, cloches, bucket hats, sun hats, fascinators, derby hats, fedoras, outbacks, and so many more!
